We have some great gigs lined up for you this month! Wax on the Waterfront is going late night and it’s on a Saturday so no need to worry about work the next day, and they’ll bringing some live bands along. Post punk bands Diaphragm Failure from London and Egyptian Blue from Colchester will be player either side of the usual Wax session for what promises to be a top night of musical treats!
Then the following week we have four bands in one evening! Welcoming back Superglu, Horse Party and The Brackish Edge and joining them for their first gig are The Failure Men. All this for FREE!
November also brings a change to our food menu. We will be adding tasty new dishes for you to fill your bellys with. Keep an eye out on Facebook, Twitter and our website for some cracking food offers to be had.
We have had several new breweries make an appearance on the bar last month. Tring Brewery Co, Box Steam Brewery, Bad Co. Brewery, Brighton Bier to name a few. You can be sure we’ll have more new beers in the coming months, with winter now here you can expect more dark ales, porters and stouts to be on the pumps. But don’t worry you hopheads out there! The pale, hoppy, citrus ales will still be here with a bit of everything in between.
Tickets for New Years Eve will be available soon. We have the Superb Red Flag 77 with support from Casual Nausea followed by a late night disco to bring in the New Year!
The weather might be cold and the nights longer but we have plenty of great gigs, loads of scrummy food and the usual selection of the best ales, ciders and wine to see you through the coming winter.
