With only a few weeks until the clocks go back it’s definitely starting to feel like Autumn is here. But fear not! No need to be gloomy. We have some top notch gigs lined up in the months to come and there will be superb seasonal ales and cider coming from the vast number of breweries and cider producers we now work with.
We have new additions to our food menu coming over the next few weeks, Homemade soup and freshly baked rolls is must for the colder days and our spicy pulled pork & mozzarella panini is super yummy! Stews, casseroles and homemade curry are sure to help satisfy the cravings of warming, hearty food.
We have some massive gigs coming up over the next few months, In November and December Wax on the Waterfront brings us two late night weekend specials. Horse Party will be returning alongside local bands Superglu, The Brackish Edge and The Failure Men (the new ‘These Are End Times band). Jeremiah Marques will be returning to The Steamboat after many requests to do so and we’ll be seeing the New Year in with Red Flag 77 & Casual Nausea. Just a few examples of some great nights to come!
But before then what do we have in October? Friday 9th sees touring Irish trad-rock band Cula Bula. After a brilliant performance at our ‘Scrumpy & Swine’ cider festival over the summer The Lockerbillies will be rocking The Boat on Saturday 10th. Then to finish the month we have a punky, spooky party with Fisti Kuffs supported by Casual Nausea, Voter Kernel & Yak Attack. So get your scariest, weirdest outfit on and come and join us for a night of ghoulish madness. It promises to be a scream! (Sorry)
